Punk Goes Pop

Há 10 anos atrás a Fearless Records criou a série “Punk Goes…”,
iniciando com a excelente “Punk Goes Metal”, que trazia nomes como AFI, Strung Out, Ataris,
Dynamite Boy e Death By Stereo tocando Judas Priest, Poison, Guns N' Roses e mais.

A série foi um sucesso, deu muito retorno à gravadora e eles expandiram seus horizontes dois anos
depois com a edição “Punk Goes Pop”.

São coletâneas muito interessantes com versões inovadoras de grandes sucessos do pop
O disco não é necessariamente punk, pois têm diversos estilos e diversas bandas, mas é uma ótima
iniciativa para lançar novas bandas ao mainstream, e ao mesmo tempo dar uma polida em músicas pop
que de tão pop, tocaram demais nas rádios.

A que eu acho mais interessante é o cover de Toxic da Britney, os cara até fizerem um clipe zuando...confira:
